  • technotrans has announced a repeat CDU manufacturing order for the Asian data center market.
  • The contract value is described only as in the mid-single-digit million-euro range.
  • The company expects to recognise the full order revenue during its 2026 financial year.
  • technotrans forecasts that its 2026 data-center revenue will triple relative to 2025.
  • The customer, deployment locations, equipment quantity and associated data-center capacity were not disclosed.

technotrans SE said on 20 October that it had secured a repeat order to manufacture coolant distribution units for the Asian data center market.

The order is valued in the mid-single-digit million-euro range. technotrans expects to recognise all revenue from the contract in the 2026 financial year. The company also expects its data-center revenue in 2026 to be three times its 2025 level; this remains a company forecast rather than a reported result.

CDUs distribute coolant and connect IT-system cooling loops to shared cooling infrastructure. For equipment suppliers, the repeat nature of the order is notable because it strengthens technotrans's existing customer relationship rather than representing a standalone initial engagement.

The announcement may signal increasingly sustained demand for liquid-cooling infrastructure in the Asian data center market. It could support further deliveries of CDUs and related thermal-management systems as cooling requirements increase, but the disclosure does not identify the customer, Asian country or countries, number of CDUs, data-center sites, or the associated IT capacity.

Full revenue recognition in 2026 is an expected accounting outcome. It should not be read as confirmation that equipment delivery or commissioning has been completed.

Почему это важно

The repeat order points to demand moving beyond one-off liquid-cooling trials for at least one customer relationship. It could indicate more durable demand for CDU and thermal-management equipment as data-center IT loads require higher-density cooling infrastructure, although the underlying deployment scale has not been disclosed.
