Taiwanese manufacturers of precision equipment, industrial automation and components are expanding their focus on AI-server and data-center infrastructure, spanning modular data centers, liquid-cooling systems, racks, CDUs and related production equipment. TECO is advancing integrated modular data-center solutions and is pursuing AIDC opportunities in Taiwan, Japan and Southeast Asia.

Taiwanese suppliers across electromechanical equipment, machine tools, motion systems, industrial automation, sheet metal, valves and die casting are increasing their exposure to AI-server and AI data-center supply chains. The activity covers both data-center infrastructure and the manufacturing equipment required to produce server-related components.

TECO is developing an integrated modular data-center (MDC) offering and is working on AIDC opportunities in Taiwan, Japan and Southeast Asia. The company expects greater clarity on MDC projects in Kuala Lumpur and Japan by year-end, while planning a new MDC factory in Penang, Malaysia. TECO said its group has accumulated more than 1 GW of data-center engineering experience; this is an engineering track-record measure, not a statement of operational IT capacity, a single campus, or newly announced capacity.

Other suppliers are targeting equipment and components used throughout the AI-server infrastructure chain. Hiwin supplies motion components for machinery used to manufacture racks, cooling modules and connectors. Syntec Technology said AI-server manufacturing-equipment solutions account for about 30% of its revenue. jpp-KY is focused on structural AI-server components including racks, enclosures, power-supply elements, water-distribution manifolds and CDU cooling modules.

FCS plans a first-stage investment of TWD 200 million to establish an AI manufacturing base. Its AI infrastructure, ICT and semiconductor technology-industry business represented about 26.6% of revenue in the third quarter. JFlow Valves links demand for industrial valves to investment in large data centers, temperature control, water treatment and flow management, while Taiwan Chelicc is testing flow sensors for AI-server liquid-cooling systems.

For operators and infrastructure investors, the development points to a broader industrial supply base addressing modular deployment and liquid-cooling requirements. That could support the scaling of AI data centers through more available infrastructure and manufacturing inputs, but the available information primarily describes supplier plans, product positioning and prospective opportunities rather than signed contracts, delivered systems or operating facilities.

Почему это важно

The AI infrastructure buildout is widening demand beyond servers to the industrial systems that support deployment: modular facilities, power and cooling equipment, liquid loops, racks, controls and specialized manufacturing tools. This supplier expansion could broaden the available equipment base for AI data centers and support greater standardization of modular and liquid-cooled designs, although the disclosed activity is largely commercial positioning and planning rather than confirmed data-center deliveries or commissioned capacity.
