Stephen Donovan has joined Rubix Data Centers as Senior Vice President, Delivery (EMEA), taking responsibility for the delivery of data-center projects across the region.
His remit spans the full project lifecycle: initial design, construction and transition into long-term operations. The role places delivery oversight alongside Rubix’s broader development activity as the company builds its first facility in Spain and cites a development pipeline in hyperscale markets across EMEA, the United States and Asia.
For operators pursuing AI-oriented infrastructure, scaling a portfolio depends not only on development ambitions but also on the ability to execute projects consistently and move completed assets into stable operations. Donovan’s appointment could strengthen Rubix’s construction and operational-delivery capacity as it expands internationally.
Rubix’s leadership team also includes Chief Executive John Eland, Chief Development Officer Alison Gutman and Executive Chairman Josh Joshi. The company has not disclosed capacity, CAPEX, construction timing or technical specifications for its first Spanish facility, nor has it provided project counts, development stages or confirmed delivery commitments for the wider pipeline.
