  • NTT DATA says Global Data Centers operates more than 150 data centers across more than 20 countries and regions.
  • The disclosure concerns an existing operating platform, not a new build, expansion phase or power project.
  • NTT DATA reports seven data-center campuses in the United States.
  • No MW, IT-load, utilisation, CAPEX or facility-level status data were disclosed.

NTT DATA has presented Global Data Centers as its data-center division, stating that it operates more than 150 facilities in more than 20 countries and regions. The company characterises itself as the third-largest data-center provider.

The disclosure is a corporate positioning update on an operating global platform, not an announcement of a new data center, construction phase, capacity commissioning or energy project. No information was provided on facility-level capacity, power availability, IT load, utilisation, capital expenditure or individual site status.

Within the United States, NTT DATA says it operates seven data-center campuses. Separately, the company says it has operated data centers in India for more than 20 years. The US campus figure is specific to that market and should not be interpreted as the total number of facilities in the global portfolio.

For the market, a platform spanning more than 20 countries and regions could indicate continued demand for globally connected infrastructure delivered by operators with local operating reach. It also suggests that competitors may need to combine international coverage with market-specific operational expertise. The available disclosure, however, does not allow comparison of NTT DATA’s position with peers on MW capacity or available electrical power.

Почему это важно

The claimed footprint signals the role of large operators in serving demand for interconnected, scalable data-center infrastructure across multiple markets. However, the disclosure provides no MW capacity, utilisation, CAPEX, commissioning or expansion data, limiting assessment of the platform’s competitive scale by IT load or available power.
