Stavian High-Tech Infrastructure Corporation has appointed Cushman & Wakefield to conduct a feasibility study for the proposed Stavian Digital Park in Ho Chi Minh City. The USTDA-funded study will assess a planned hyperscale digital technology park targeting an initial 300 MW of power capacity by 2030.

  • Cushman & Wakefield has been appointed to assess the feasibility of the proposed Stavian Digital Park in Ho Chi Minh City.
  • The USTDA-funded study spans 15 workstreams, including power, connectivity, financial viability and regulation.
  • The project targets an initial 300 MW of energy capacity by 2030; this is not operational data-center capacity.
  • Ho Chi Minh City’s data-center development pipeline reached 68 MW in the first half of 2026.
  • The proposal includes up to 200 Tbps of international subsea fiber connectivity, but this remains a planned feature.

Stavian High-Tech Infrastructure Corporation, a Stavian Group company, has commissioned Cushman & Wakefield to prepare a feasibility study for Stavian Digital Park (SDP), a proposed hyperscale digital technology park in Ho Chi Minh City.

Funded by the U.S. Trade and Development Agency, the study covers 15 workstreams, including demand assessment, site evaluation, power, telecommunications connectivity, financial viability, sustainability, regulation and delivery strategy. The mandate is therefore an early development-stage assessment rather than confirmation of an investment decision, construction start or operational data-center capacity.

SDP is planned to cover about 300 hectares and to reach an initial energy capacity of 300 MW by 2030. That figure is a future planned energy-capacity target, not commissioned or guaranteed available data-center capacity. The proposal also includes international subsea fiber connectivity of up to 200 Tbps, alongside solar and other renewable-energy resources; this connectivity remains a project objective rather than deployed infrastructure.

The project is being considered against a constrained local supply base. Ho Chi Minh City’s data-center development pipeline reached 68 MW in the first half of 2026, more than twice the city’s operational capacity. Cushman & Wakefield also estimates that Vietnam has approximately 1.4 million people per MW of operational data-center capacity.

If the feasibility study supports technical and financial viability, SDP could broaden the pool of sites available to large cloud and AI customers in Vietnam. Progress will depend on subsequent investment decisions and on securing the required power, connectivity and regulatory conditions.

Почему это важно

The proposed development points to the scale of infrastructure being considered for Vietnam’s cloud and AI workloads as Ho Chi Minh City’s data-center pipeline expands. It remains an early-stage proposal, however: feasibility findings, investment decisions, power supply, connectivity and regulatory conditions will determine whether the project advances.
