A weekly market roundup highlights separate AI-infrastructure developments across Europe and the wider data-center market: a major NVIDIA Blackwell deployment at Global Switch’s Paris West site, Submer Group’s Corenix modular data-center platform, Samsung-led investment in Helix Digital Infrastructure, and Blackfuel’s inference deployment at Digital Realty’s BCN1 facility in Barcelona.

Главное
  • Global Switch’s Paris West facility in Clichy has been selected for an NVIDIA Blackwell deployment described as among Europe’s largest, without a disclosed scale.
  • Submer Group has launched Corenix to supply modular, factory-tested data centers for neocloud, hyperscale and AI customers.
  • Samsung Electronics and five affiliates are committing a combined US$1 billion to KKR-created Helix Digital Infrastructure.
  • Blackfuel is deploying its AI inference platform at Digital Realty’s BCN1 in Barcelona using liquid-cooled Dell Technologies AI Factory infrastructure and AMD GPUs.
  • The announcements provide no disclosed MW capacity, site-level CAPEX or delivery timetable for the cited deployments.

The developments are separate announcements rather than elements of a single project or transaction, but collectively illustrate several active segments of the AI data-center market.

Global Switch said its Paris West data center in Clichy, France, has been selected to host one of Europe’s largest NVIDIA Blackwell deployments. The source does not quantify the deployment, so its IT load, facility capacity and delivery schedule cannot be assessed. The next-generation AI architecture is stated to offer a five-times improvement in inference performance compared with previous models.

Submer Group has launched Corenix, a platform intended to supply modular, factory-tested data centers for neoclouds, hyperscalers and AI operators through NVIDIA reference designs. No capacity, deployment timetable or capital expenditure figures were disclosed for Corenix projects.

Separately, Samsung Electronics and five Samsung affiliates are investing a combined US$1 billion in Helix Digital Infrastructure, a platform launched by KKR in June 2026. Helix is being developed to provide hyperscalers with infrastructure, power capacity and connectivity. The disclosed investment should not be read as confirmed construction expenditure or commissioned data-center capacity.

In Barcelona, Blackfuel selected Digital Realty’s BCN1 data center to deploy and scale its AI inference platform. The deployment uses liquid-cooled Dell Technologies AI Factory infrastructure with AMD GPUs. The source does not disclose the associated MW capacity, CAPEX or commissioning timeline.

Together, the announcements suggest that AI infrastructure demand is being addressed through multiple routes: hosted GPU deployments, modular data-center delivery, dedicated platform investment and liquid-cooled inference infrastructure. However, absent disclosed MW figures, build schedules and site-level CAPEX, the resulting addition of physical capacity cannot be quantified.

Почему это важно

Taken together, the developments point to parallel activity in high-density GPU hosting, modular delivery models, AI-infrastructure platform financing and liquid-cooled inference environments. They could indicate growing demand for rapidly deployable, high-density AI capacity, although the physical scale and delivery timelines of the cited sites are not disclosed.
